Exploring VIP Airport Parking: Is It Worth It?

I personally know a corporate executive who once said that his firm was spending around $12,000 on VIP airport parking annually just for his business travels. That’s almost triple what the normal airport parking costs these days. 
And his question was: Was this premium pricing actually worth it, or was it simply a way to waste money or overpay for the services while receiving minimal value that is even less than what standard parking facilities provide?
